Beware of Humans
in Hamster Clothing

'Tis the season of the Hamster Imposter. As election day draws close, the major (human) parties find themselves forced to confront The Hamster Issue. And politics can be dirty. Indeed, even as we write, plots are being hatched to steal away our loyal Hamster For President voters.

That's why we are delighted that a popular newspaper comic strip chose to present a commentary on the matter, delivering a warning to readers about hamster hoaxsters who may try to influence the vote. For those who missed it, this is the feature that ran in newspapers coast to coast on 29 August. Its message is clear: "Beware of humans in hamster clothing."

Yes, they will try to fool you. Between now and November 2nd, you may well discover in your closet a fiend in fake fur who will try to get you to change your vote. But if this creature is oversized with a human voice and a pelt that looks like it came from a factory, you can be certain it's a rodent-hating impersonator. And remember, they only do these things when they know they're losing!
